HV work inside a live commissioning programme
Data centre HV commissioning is rarely a standalone package. It sits inside a staged programme where the HV system has to be proven early enough to support generator testing, UPS commissioning and integrated systems testing — but late enough that the installation is genuinely complete. Getting that sequencing wrong is the most common cause of programme slip on the electrical side.
We plan HV activities around those dependencies: what has to be energised to support the next test phase, which circuits must remain isolated, and what switching is required to move load without exposing a single point of failure. Every step is documented as a switching programme before anyone touches a handle.
Evidence that satisfies the witness
Data centre clients, their commissioning managers and their insurers all want the same thing: verifiable proof. Our test records are written to be witnessed — calibrated equipment traceability, settings revision references, as-found and as-left values, and clear pass criteria taken from the specification rather than from convention.
Through operational life
Once a facility is live, the HV system becomes the highest-consequence asset on site. We provide planned protection re-testing, thermographic and condition checks, and senior authorised person cover for switching, isolations and contractor access — so maintenance happens without eroding resilience.
